UNCW Grad Tryouts for NPF

    UNCW Grad Tryouts out for WPSL

    Local UNCW graduate,Crest High School product, Tiffany Lindermann, career HR leader for the Seahawks, All-Conference (SoCon), academic all american, dual major, will travel to Dallas, TX on Dec 7 to tryout for the World Professional Softball League. The draft was recently held and Tiffany wasnt drafted but was invited to tryout and will leave next Sunday.

    This young lady is determined to give it a shot and as she put it, "I have always dreamed of this and I am going for it"
    Note: she also dreamed of playing college ball as a young hs player, not recruited, walked on her freshman year and Earned Scholarship money and academic cash, the remaining 3 1/2 years there!! Best of Luck to Tiffany with this dream ..............Go For IT!

    Good Luck Tiffany. Have seen her play many times over the last several years, mostly from the other side of the field against ETSU daughter. They have become friends and chat often.

    She will do well...

    Thats wonderful to know and as her "daddy"(what she calls me)watching her grow up into an outstanding young woman and a steward of the game brings great pride to me and my family.

    I am waiting on this call now, just as we did on her making the Seahawk team 5 years ago ................fingers are crossed :D Even if she doesnt make this cut, I will give her a Job during the summer!!!

    If your friends with Tiff.............................FriendsForLife! Good luck to ETSU this year.

    Tiffany just stopped in for a visit and to tell me all about for experiences at TX tryout. I will keep it short and sweet........

    She was satisfied with her perform and a couple of coaches spoke with her after Outfied drills.......speedy, strong arm and smartness was their comments to her. She hit the ball well for most pitchers (live) and mentioned that she stuggled with the "drop ball" pitcher though. Overall the experience was worth it to her and for now its wait and see mode for her! Not really though............she is leaving on a ski trip to WVA, applying for jobs as a sports broadcaster and will be handling some private hitting lesson for area girls till she decides on a job. We discussed the situation with teams not having but CA, AZ,TX and a few FL players dominating most NPF team rosters among other things but it was just good to sitdown, smile, laugh and have some great softball conversation.

    Tiffany said to tell EnkaJet05 hey and thanks for the support and for Asking about her!

    currently assistant coach at WINGATE UNIVERSITY and May be in Kings Mountain this Saturday on the recurittin trail.

    Best catcher I even saw, Loved watching her play for the old Carolina Fear Team. Thickest head of hair I ever saw on anyone. Go Tiff
