Is being selected to play in and to receive an award in the 2009 Under Armour Baseball in Arizona in January 2009 really mean anything, or is it you and 1000 other players receive the same invitation?

I wish I could say that I'm aware of them, but I'm not. But there are many that have been creative in trying to gain attention. I don't know if this is the case, but I would not be surprised.

There are so many acclaimed showcase tournaments to attend that I don't think I would risk my $$ on those I don't know.

    Cost...

One thing to think about......How much does it cost to attend? Does this answer your question? Not saying it wont accomplish anything, but...

Goes out to you and 1000 others. The key is always if it costs and UA/Baseball Factory charges $799 for the honor of being selected. Save your money or go to Perfect Game events.

You have to pay to go umpire? That is tough!

    They saw that picture...

... of you with that "infield" glove (covers half the infield!) and figured it would make up for the step or two you may have lost... maybe they saw your wallet in your back pocket too. Coach May probably got one also... they think he keeps his bankroll tucked between his cheek and gum. You just can't hide talent like that!
