The coaches email address is on the thread. If your looking at a specific school then I would suggest going to their winter camp. If your just trying to see where you stand I would think this is a good place to start.

Woody, coach27 is right. There are plenty of opportunities out there. Baseball is a little different in that you have to promote yourself through both ability, venue and marketing. Don't count on an AD. Not much of that anymore. The game has changed. UVA is this weekend, College of Charleston is Thanksgiving weekend just to name a couple. There is a lot happening in Dec. and Jan.

Cody Stubbs (09 Tuscola HS) Can play the game. Not well known due to the fact he is from western nc. Throws right and bats left. Has alot of pop in his bat, saw him almost break the budweiser sign at crawdads park in hickory off of a pretty good left handed pitcher. Nice kid also , lets his glove and bat do his talking

Tanner Beck (09 Parkland HS) Knows the game, solid infielder. but can play anywhere. Good solid hitter. Excellant student.

Tyler Coyle (09 West Forsyth) LHP very fluid pitcher. Throws for strike. Fastball upper seventies will pick up with strenght. Great kid and has the grades. Would be a great addition to any squad.

    Orange HS

Jake Manzulich 6'1", 180, LHP - Ball movement outstanding with very good control, velocity is improving every season.

    J. T. Pope 6'1", 170, C - Great frame and still growing, extremely hard worker, consistent 2.0-2.1 times, RH hitter with power potential.

Scott Jarvis 5'11", 155, SS - Smooth actions, good arm strength, also pitches from a 3/4 arm angle at 81-83 MPH good movement.

All three are very intelligent players with great grades.

tyler coyle and dustin myers are 2 lefties at west forsyth that should be very good this year. several others in the cpc. those teams just seem to keep loading them up every year. levi michels at north davidson, matt batts at tabor, just to name a few others.

I'll second that on this young player. I saw him at least three times this summer and he is a very good player. He should have a great Jr year. Good power at the plate and solid behind it. He is one of the better catchers in the 09 class imo. And will be one of the better power guys this HS season. He plays hard too. All those Hurricane boys do.

    hurricanes

I'll kick in another Hurricane. Dylan Davenport 5'10/175 SS/2B. He plays for Richmond County. He played all the infield position and even pitched a little for the Canes this summer and fall.
