Good job Daniel on answering Woody's questions--very helpful.

I've sent this link to several college coaches. However, I must admit I told them I was Up and In and put Robert's picture on the blog to add credibility

Robert, this has been very helpful to a lot of people. Unfortunately, if they don't respond you will never know how many.

    Talking Counts

    Hey everybody,

I purposely left up the interview with DB longer than most posts. But it has been a week, so I figured it was time to put up another. The most recent post to the blog are my thoughts on counts. Specifically, the ones that I believe to be the most important for pitchers.

    All the best,

    Woody

You know the story - You never know who is watching- well, an interesting side note to Robert's blog: Robert received an interesting email from a well respected baseball writer.

paraphrasing~ "Robert- I came across your interview with Daniel Bard on your blog. It was excellent..."

    signed,

    Peter Gammons

It appears Robert has found another vocation when he hangs up his spikes.

I hope this doesn't get taken the wrong way by Woodard and followers, but the best thing I like about his blog is that it is so simple. He goes over things that should be common sense to pitchers, but they are things that guys commonly don't think about. I really enjoy his blog and I have made sure our P's at the high school read it once a week as well so I am not talking it down by any means. He does a great job by making it very EASY to understand. It's not scientific, there's no "big words", there's no "Click here to buy", etc. If you haven't gotten hooked, you really need to check it out.

Thanks again for sharing what you know. It's refreshing to hear someone of your ability and level to break it down so simple. Keep it up!

    Andrew Miller Interview Posted

Glad to hear you like the stuff so far JM. Im really trying hard to put stuff up that I would have wanted to read when I was coming up in high school. So hopefully your guys either know this stuff already or are enjoying the new stuff.

In saying that, I had a chance this past week to get up with a former teammate of mine from UNC Andrew Miller for an interview, and just put it up on the blog.

    Thanks yall,

    Woody

    Hey Guys,

I got into AZ yesterday in one piece. After getting settling in since Ive been here, I took some time to describe the events of yesterday.

Hope it is some quality insight for the young guys aspiring to play professionally.

    All the best,

    Woody

    Potching help

I know there are alot of gimmicks for all kinds of pitching. There is a tool called the Pitchers POWER DRIVE This device is now used by alot of the D1 schools and pro teams it is new on the market but has been around for a few years. This tool works very well for balance and use of legs to keep your mechanics in line visit their web site and You Will Be Surprised contact John Miller about this and check it out it really works

    Pitchers Power Drive

The Power Drive really works if done correctly. I coached Jon Miller in college; he was using a model of this made with wood back then. He took his idea and made it a legit product that is solidly built! I use it and really think guys benefit from it.
