    07 hitter

    Brent O'Berry from Ragsdale

Very nice stroke from the left hand side.

    07 Hitter

According to ImpactBaseball's site, Chris Jacobs (6-4/250 lbs)(1B - R/R) from Glenn High School is one of the most powerful hitters (raw power) still available.

Chaz Sessoms (C - R/R) plenty of pull power.

I agree with Kevin11 on O'Berry's stroke and contact. Good clutch hitter also.

    Power or average?

    Agree about Brent O'Berry...
    Some others to consider...
If you're looking for a lefty leadoff type guy consider Colin Parker. Good speed in the outfield and a smart runner on the base paths. Princeton HS
David Shamblee, a catcher, has some pop and a good eye at the plate.Green Hope HS
Trey Williams swings a good stick and has some power. Lee Senior HS
Corey Carver is primarily considered a pitcher, but he hits the ball well also. Fuquay Varina HS
Nick Williams, another catcher, has scary power. Garner HS

you guys beat me to the punch with O'Berry. Hard to believe nobody has signed this kid yet. He batted .396 last year to lead Ragsdale. Brent is a very solid hitter - he always looks in control at the plate and has a very smooth swing.

I talked to Coach Maness today and didn't even think about asking him if Brent had any offers. I thought ASU was looking at him and Jason Wallace but so far only Wallace signed.

Collegecoach- has Coach S. told you outside of hitting, what positions you're looking for? It would help narrow down your school's need.

John Ramsey - TC Roberson High School - 8 homeruns last year and over .500 for most of the season despite missing the first couple of weeks to basketball season. MAC All-Conference at catcher as a junior and at 3B as a sophomore; also pitches and plays 1b/2b. Named to All-Impact Tourney Team at Chapel Hill this summer.

    I will second that!

John Ramsey can hit. Also he is so versatile in the field. He can catch and play the field. Also he is pretty darn good on the hill. The kid is a warrior on the baseball field.
