I have a couple of good seniors that deserve a look:
Daniel Walker-RHP- Very solid pitcher very good arm missed most of last year with a broken ankle, has recovered and looks to help us quite a bit this year. Throws 3/4 to slightly below (natural slot), good movement and pop on the ball.
Blaine Newton - solid infielder - good D-2 /D-3 prospect
JD Coates - Solid D-3 outfield prospect
Blake Bowes - RHP - Good D-3 pitcher Good size at 6'4 but needs to gain weight at a whopping 160. Good location and movement on pitches.

Coates and Bowes will have difficulty qualifying for a lot of money at D-3 because they are not in top 1/2 of class academically right now.
All are solid players and can play at the next level.

Coach, having you in their corner is a greater help to these young men than they will ever know. I wish them all well this year and hope you get some good looks for these players.

I think Brett Richardson definately deserves a shot and I think he will get it. Garrett Sherrill from AL Brown will sign D1 somewhere.
Ryan Brown Central Cab D2- looks like Pfeiffer
Jason Auten - cental Cab - Most likely JUCO
Matt Killian- Central- can pitch d2
Greg Allen- North meck- d2, d3, Juco
David Macauley- north meck- can play if he decides he wants to in college
Blair Troutman- Concord- Brains- potential place at davidson, thats where he wants to go

Roc, I know about 5 of those players and I have to agree with you. In particular, McAuley may be in a decision where he must choose between a major college educationally versus a smaller school and play baseball. He's definately got the ability to play at a smaller school and could pitch very easily for a lot of D2's/D3's.

Jason Auten will get some decent looks. I like his speed in the OF, he can lead off, he can bunt and he's a lefty off the mound who can throw strikes and move the ball.

East Mecklenburg- Taylor (Tate) Bryant...a big strong kid that can pitch, catch and hit. I'm looking forward to a big year from Tate!...need to find out what schools he is interested in.
