    Parkland high school finished the season 12-10(8-8). this is a three game improvement over last year. especially impresive when you take in account they had 2 seniors, 3 juniors, and 8 freshmen and at times started 7 freshmen. next year could possibly start 5 sophs and 4 freshmen and with the down size of conference from 9 to 6 teams parkland may be prime for lots of success to come. also congratulations to freshmen Malia Craft who hit almost .600 with 2 homeruns and Ashley Myers who hit almost .500 on making all-conference as freshmen at pitcher and catcher respectivaly. congratulations girls and work hard over the summer. keep an eye out for these kids. malia plays travel ball for the carolina cyclones and ashley plays for the nc rockers.:229031_ha
