USC Upstate will be having a winter clinic Janurary 29th from 11:00 to 4:00. The cost is $45.00. A group of 8 or more is $35.00. This clinic will work on the total game of Softball. The 2005 Spartans will work the camp along with Head Coach Chris Hawkins, Assistant Coach McKewn Dannelly, and Carolina Pride 18-U coach Doug Keelan. This will be a fundraiser for the 2005 team and also is an great way to polish your skills before the High School season starts. If you are interested please call 864 503-5171. :xyzthumbs

from an old man who took each of his daughters to Coach Hawkins' Winter Clinics for over 10 years.............a huge THANKS to coach and his staff. They are truely better young ladies; one teaches middle school and coaches there while the other played collegiately(plans to teach/coach as well) and learned the most from Coach Hawkins!! We didnt limit it to just USC-S, as unc, usc, uncc, pfieffer and lenior-rhyne all provide good clinics, but the kids always wanted to go back to Spartanburg for those Winter Clinics!

just my two cents mindja......Coach Hawkins is the best hitting instructor in NC/SC<period>

just wondering we have never attended one of your camps is it more focused on the beginner or is it suitable for the more advanced player we have been looking for a camp that is more focus on experience players we attend a camp in july at IU because it has both beginner and advanced maybe this is something the colleges might want to look in to the program for the advanced player cost a little more but it is well worth it [IMG]

Clinic opened from ages 8 to 18

This clinic is designed to work with all skill levels. With the facilities USC Upstate has and the 27 instructors on had to accomidate all ages, it will be a great learning enviornment for all. The clinic will spend the first 2 hours working on defensive positions while the last 3 hours will work on the proper swing path in hitting. Bunting and baserunning will also be covered. Make sure you bring batting gloves for both hands. (a lot of swings). Tennis shoes to hit in the covered batting tunnels, and your own bat and glove.

IT WILL BE A GREAT KICK START FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON!!

5 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION FOR ONLY $45.00. WITH 8 OR MORE IT IS JUST $35.00

Please call ahead for groups of 8 or more.

Groups of 8 or more please call 864 503-5171 and register first. We are at 80 campers right now. Room isn't a factor, however we want to keep the groups together throughout the day when possible. The cut off is 150 participants. :xyzthumbs
