USC Upstate Winter Clinic

    USC Upstate will hold it's annual Softball Clinic Janurary 28th from 11:00 until 4:00. This will be an outdoor event weather permitting. The covered hitting facility at the field, Cyrill Stadium, and Harley Park will provide ample room for a lot of quality instruction. Please check out the web page at www.uscupstate.edu. Go to athletics then softball. The registration is online as well. If you need more info please call assistant coach Traci Farrington at 864 503-5143. :cucumber:

    I don't know how many coaches or HS players post or just read here on TBR but this is a great camp to jumpstart your HS season. The camp is run smoothly with great instructors and it allows you to shed the rust that has accumulated over the winter. Great place to bring your whole HS team to learn together or individually based upon position. :woot:

    Any coaches bringing a team or players are encouraged to attend and walk around free of charge! We want the coaches working with the players to be there so they can see how these skills are taught at USC Upstate. Also be on hand to see the many different drills offered to improve the campers. Great kick start to the high school season!

    Think of the past college players that came through this particular clinic as bright eyed 12 y/o and/or inspiring high school players wanting to hone their hitting skills, in preparation for the upcoming season?
    :imagestor .....Getting OLD too!

    In my opinion.....this is the best hitting clinic around.

    USC Upstate always recognized by National Fastpitch Coaches Association for having one of the top ballfields in the country has now won the National Turface award for the maintenance and upkeep of their facilities for 2006. Coach Hawkins and his coaching staff take pride in the upkeep of their facilities. I have seen the hours he has spent making sure that the ballfield is also a source of pride for his players.     Great job, glad a Lady Blue is headed south to play with Coach Hawkins. I know she is excited. U are right a beautiful place to play softball, a National Championship banner is all that is needed. RET
