vandalism to Rich Park

Heard some players from West Forsyth were caught vandalising Rich park. Can some one confirm this .Were any players punished, if they were then how.

 

What did they do and when???

 

Heard they messed up the field after the groundskeeper had the field ready for The Davie County High school game, Then they found spray paint and decided to spray paint buildings and the field.Heard a groundskeeper caught them.

 

I sure hope you're wrong about it being players. And if it turns out they weren't players, then it is a real shame that you posted a rumor like that on here. It wold be nice if folks would confirm negative reports before posting them. All this "I heard" stuff is troubling to me. Just my opinion.

 

We just played them last tuesday. Was it jv or varisity players or both???

 

hey im from davie and the rumor is true. There were four (im pretty sure all varsity) players, im not going to say names, who got caught by one of our coaches. By the time we got to the field it had already been cleaned up. I was dissapointed to hear about who it was, becuase one of them was a long time friend of mine who ive played with in aau. Rich Park is a county run facility, so punishments should go through the county and not Davie High, but to my knowledge, all 4 players wont get in trouble at all.

I figured they'd learn after the first time (west vandalized davie back during football season and did a lot of damage.) all they are doing is fueling an already heated rivalry. thats okay we dont revert to doing that because were not that low. We do our job on the field.

 

Lets just make sure we keeps names out of this

I agree, let's definitely keep names out of this. But DC, when you say the players won't get in trouble... does this mean with the law or with the coach? I find it a bit odd that these guys would not be punished atleast by the baseball program.

 

of what i know, they didnt get in trouble with the law. I cant say if there were any punishments from the coach, because I dont go to that school.

Their excuse was that they were at Rich Park to take batting practice. hmm...

 

Why did they not take practice at their own field??? That excuse dont cut it.
