varsity letter

    To receive a varsity letter, do you have to play with the varsity the full year or can you receive a varsity letter if you were brought up at the end of the year for play offs

    Completely up to the coach. I required that a player had to either participate in 9 games (sub, pinch runner, etc) or start 2 games. I think some give a letter if the player is on the roster. Really not something to be overly worried about. If dd was a JV player and was asked to travel with the Varsity for the Play Offs, be proud that she was included. It means the coach probably has plans for her next year and wanted her to experience all she could. Congratulations to her!

    I was just wondering. Some parents told me she should have gotten a varsity letter.
