    Butler made 9 errors, not to mention base running mistakes. Butler pitched and hit well enough to win this game, but you can't give a good team like MP that many second chances. Congrats to MP for putting the ball in play and not giving up.

    Is the pitching rotation going to allow Hyatt to throw against Brevard next week? btw go ahead and post the score so i do not have to call recon for it, with all those hits it must have been bad?

    He also hit a home run and two doubles. Hitting .475 on the year.

    Ryan Stack hits a pinch hit home run as he has been nursing a pulled hamstring.

    P. Rossi hit a home run for Cary.

    Lee County is now 8-5 on the year.

    Some things are better left unsaid, the score in this case. And the 1st time around this was a 3-1 game. I do believe Hyatt will throw against Brevard. Our coach has always said you throw your best against the best. I know the kid wants that game. He's not like a lefty we had in the past that tried to duck the tough games. He should have a week off to rest and be strong for that game.
