31 - 0!! A game like that doesn't tell you a thing. What it does is develop bad habits. I know that you have to play your schedule and all, but what was the AD thinking?

I didn't mean to post a disparaging remark about Statesville's varsity or j.v team. I don't know the situation with their program. They used to be really good 15-20 years ago.

The point of my post was to point out the wealth of talent East Rowan has in their pipeline. Sorry if the post offended anyone associated with the Stateville program.

    Hopewell over North Lincoln

    Hopewell - 10, North Lincoln - 9

    WP - Jon Fisher
    LP - Sherill

The Titans come out flat, but manage to come with a win. Sloppy play (5 errors) and a couple of baserunning mistakes result in Hopewell having to come from behind to finally take the lead in the 6th. Hunter May was the starting pitcher for the Titans, followed by Kody Schrenk, with Jon Fisher coming in to close and grab the win. Leading hitters for Hopewell were Lane, Murtle, Peterson and Guerrier. Sherrill helped his cause for North Lincoln with a homerun (3 rbi's), along with key hits by Keener.

Next up for the Titans - very important conference matchup at Central Cabarrus on Friday.

North Forsyth defeats Davie County 7-3 tonight. Standings are now Davie 4-2, North Davidson 4-2, West Forsyth 4-2, and Mount Tabor 3-3 for the top four teams. Big games tomorrow with North Davidson traveling to Davie County and West Forsyth playing at Mount Tabor. The 2nd round of games have started off interesting with Reynolds and North Forsyth picking up wins against 2 of the top teams. This is going to be a great finish in a very good CPC this year.

Rocky Mount 4 Northern Nash 0

Jim Leggett pitches a gem allowing only 2 or 3 hits.

Ben Fish had an rbi double. Brian Goodwin had a double. Dillon Cockrell a single.

RM defeats NN for 3rd time this season.

Spent a lot of time talking sorry for so little detail.

    Whats wrong with Leggett?

You mean he gave up 3 hits? What in the world is wrong with that kid? He needs to pick it up!

Stretchy jinxed him, and he found out you didn't show up so he went into a depression.
