    Is the Patton box score right or a typo ? 9 ERRORS ??

    Errors...

    No, not a typo...Patton was missing fly balls that should have been caught a long with the shortstop and third basemen making quite a few as well...Maiden did hit the ball well.

    Grimsley wrapped up the regular season with a 13-3 win over Smith in 5 innings. It was Senior Night and all 6 seniors contributed. Lucas Wren got the win on the mound. Matt Netteshiem was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. Andrew Faircloth, Andrew Justice, Jon Wilkenson and Pat Oechsli all finished their home career with hits in their last at-bat. Grimsley finishes 17-5, 8-2 in conference. Here's the rest of Metro 4A....

    Northwest Guilford 7-3
    High Point Central 3-7
    Page 3-7
    Smith 0-10

    East Forsyth and Grimsley get 1st round byes.
    Northwest plays Smith, winner plays Grimsley.
    High Point Central plays Page. Winner gets 4th seed and a bid in the State play-off. Winner also plays East Forsyth.
