    WP: Chris White (4-1)
    LP: Dockery

Senior night at Swain said goodbye to 11 of them. :N1Greatjob02:
5 for sure and possibly a 6th going to play baseball at the next level and another who is going to run track at the next level. They will be sorely missed! Great kids who are an asset to their school and community. A group like this one comes along once in a lifetime if you are lucky and I thank god everyday that I was lucky enough to be a part of it on the field and off.

LH: Swain: Allman 1-2 2RBI, Shuler 2-2 HBP 3RBI, Lyons 1-1 RBI, Burton 2-2 HBP RBI

    Swain 16-1 (13-0)

    MPC 3A Semifinals - Ragsdale 5 Randleman 3

    Randleman-- 001 110 0 - 3 7 2
    Ragsdale---- 000 320 x - 5 9 0
    WP - Nick McBride 5-3
    LP - D. Tuttle

I didn't make the drive down but asctually was able to pick up the game on the net at work for awhile then in the car on 1260 - nice signal all the way to Jamestown.

Seth Issacs started for Randleman. He pitched 4 and 1/3. Tuttle came in for the last 1 2/3. Only one hit for Tuttle but it was a big one - a 2 RBI single to Ryan Andrejco. McBride was an out short of a complete game going 6 and 2/3. A two out double and back to back walks brought in Kyle Brandenburg who got the last out.

Sounded like a great game - McBride pitched very well - got ahead of most hitters - no walks til those two in the 7th. Walks have been his undoing the last couple outings.

Randleman took the lead on a run in the third and a run in the fourth. Ragsdale came back with 3 in the fourth to go up 3-2. The runs came on back to back one out doubles by Fultz and Andrejco. Nick McBride then drove in Andrejco with a single and Billy Stone scored McBride on a two out single.

Randleman tied it up in the fifth as Bradley Holland drove in Cockman who led off the inning with a single. But Ragsdale went right back in the lead as one out singles by Brandenburg and Fultz chased Issacs who was rudely greetd by Andrejco's two rbi single.

Ragsdale goes to 18-7 on the year. McBride won his fifth game giving up seven hits, striking out six walking two. Ryan Andrejco was 2-3, DB, 3 RBIs and arun scored. Ben Fultz was 2-3, DB, 2 runs scored. Nick McBride and Billy Stone were each 1-3 with an RBI each.

Hope to make the title game tomorrow night. Not sure who won game two between SE Guilford and SW Randolph.

If Butler was ranked higher in the SW4A, this kid would (and should still) get some consideration for Player of the Year! In my mind, this kid has carried this team. Congrats to Tyler!
