    Andy & Matt

Congrats to both Andy & Matt. We enjoyed watching these boys play this summer and fall. Both will be a great pick up for the Mars Hill program. Best of luck to both families.

    Congratulations to Michael Bogaert

Congratulations to Michael Bogaet and his family. Asheville gets a great player and a very supportive family. I know that Carol and Eric are thrilled.

    Jay Laramore signs with Lenoir-Rhyne

Congratulations to RJ Reynold's senior Jay Laramore for signing his NLI today with Lenoir-Rhyne College! Jay is a fine young man and will bring plenty of pitching, fielding and hitting skills to the Bears next fall. I know his parents, Bud and Brenda are very happy with Jay's decision and are proud of his accomplishments. Brenda has probably already started shopping for a new Cardinal and Black wardrobe!

Good luck Jay! :applause: [IMG] :applause: [IMG] :applause:

The early signing period is now over ... there are some names that will still be floating in, but the D1's will be inactive until Easter (as far as signings). There can still be a verbal commitment at any time, since that's done by the player.

The next period up is the JUCO signing period. The first date that the Juco NLI (Different program ... different NLI) can be signed in baseball is January 15th.

D2's/D3's in particular can still have some fun now...... A lot more pitchers will disappear from the availability chart over the winter.

Matt Sanders, 3B, New Bern High School has committed to Young Harris College. Matt was selected to the 2004 all state team and is an excellent 3rd baseman with a great bat. Look for him to have a great senior year and beyond. Congratulations to a fine young man and his family!
