    Rock Hill Northwestern High's Ryan Hinson has made a verbal commitment to Clemson. The lefty had an outstanding summer season with the Diamond Devils earning the Outstanding Pitcher Award at the CABA National Championship. At Northwestern, Ryan helped the Trojans to the 2004 South Carolina playoffs while earning All District honors. Congratulations to Ryan and his parents, Larry and Sheryl.

    Zach Rosenbaum from North Mecklenburg High has committed to UNCC. He is an ALL-State right-handed pitcher. This will be a definite asset to the UNCC baseball family!!!!!!!!!

    Congrats to Zach and his family! They are great people, and this is well-deserved! :applause:

    What a great event for both Zack and UNCC. The coaching staff at UNCC has realized the local talent in the class of 2005 and is really working hard to keep some of that talent here. My son has played against Zack for several years and has also had the priviledge of playing with him as well - I agree wholeheartedly with Rattdd about the player as well as the family - they are all great peoplel - Congrats to Zack as well as Mom and Dad!!

    ...and what a great fit. UNCC loves Zack and he is going to the school that he wanted....but they aren't getting just a great pitcher but a family of great supporters as well. Congratulations to Zach, Dewayne and Lisa Rosenbaum. :applause:

    Congratulations to Zack and his family. Our family really enjoyed getting to know the Rosenbaums this summer. UNCC gets a great kid and family.

    Josh Dowdy(RHP-Wakefield) to East Carolina. Drew Taylor(LHP-Wake Forest) to NC STATE, Steve halford(SS-WakeField) to UNC-Wilmington. All three were members of the Wake Forest legion team that lost to Garner. Congrats to all 3.

    Hopewell slugger Dusty White has made his verbal commitment to UNC-Charlotte this past weekend. Dusty will be at 1B and may also DH some for the 49'ers. Down the road, don't be surprised if he picks up a few innings on the mound too !!!!!

    Charlotte is putting together a great signing class for 2005.

    Dusty White (Hopewell High) has verbally committed to UNCC. Dusty plays 1B/Pitcher with a great bat!

    Congrats to Dusty and his family! Not only is he a great young man, he also has a very supportive and terrific family!
