speaking of good pick ups. there are several still out there from the winston area.
nick siega-riz- throws right hits left, outfielder/pitcher throws MID to
upper 80's runs 6.7-6.8 (60) hit around .400 last year lead off
    type guy. tremendous work ethics

jeff guerrie- catcher hits left handed, contact guy with some power, GREAT
reciever & blocker. pop times between 1.9-2.1 runs average.
great work ethics. will be a steal (move in from florida)
both of these are at west forsyth

torrey johnson- (reynolds)3rd base/pitcher. great hands and feet. hits it
well. all around player with great work habits, could play for
    me anytime.

ryan caldwell- (glenn) big strong infielder that hits it a ton. good feet and
hands. good work ethics, great insticnts.
dj mitchell- (north forsyth) tall lanky player with GREAT speed plays outfield
and can go get it. hits it well for power and average. pitches
some also, has been reported to have hit 90 in a showcase.

these guys played on the region 5 state games (except for jeff). i am sure there are others out there unsigned. these are just the ones i know about

    Daniel Cooke of Independence

I am happy to announce that Daniel Cooke of Independence will be signing tomorrow with Gardner Webb where he will play both football and baseball. He is some athlete. He will be reunited with his former team mate Zach Farry. That's a great pick up for GW.

One of the players I've watched since I first saw him down at the underclassmen showcase in Wilmington year before last has now made his commitment.

Congrats to Brandon Formyduval, Union Pines, catcher !!!

Brandon is head to North Carolina Wesleyan in Rocky Mount as a catcher/pitcher

It's always nice to read of another player's success, but it's even better when it's a member of TBR

    Congratulations Brandon :applause:

    Dexter Carter, Hertford County.....

Has committed to Louisburg College. "Dex" plays ball over the state line in the Tidewater region of Virginia at a private school. Dexter is a 6'6" RHP, throwing in the high 80's.

Congrats to both Dexter and Louisburg. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Latest per the rumor mill. Haven't been able to confirm these anywhere yet, maybe some of the NPC folks will know. My source is very good, but not a member of either family.

From AL Brown HS in K-Town.

Jeremiah Worthington is probably headed to Davidson College to play baseball. He tore his ACL in his junior year of Football. He's expected to be at full speed and on the field by the 3rd game this season.
Garrett Sherrill should be headed to South Carolina for baseball and as a place-kicker on football. He's another player who had lots of options.

It's good to hear about both these guys!!!!!! NPC folks, chime in!!!!!
