    Congrats to all NC palyers that have signed. Just curious. I have been told that juniors cannot be approached until June for college commitments. Is this incorrect?

    Yes..that is incorrect. A junior may go to the school's campus for an unofficial visit. As long as it is not a dead period...they can discuss and seek a commitment.

    School camps are the perfect way to recruit future prospects. This is a relatively new arena that colleges are delving into. They figured that it is better to receive a commitment from a standout junior then to potentially lose them to another school during the summer of their rising senior year. You will notice more and more schools actively doing this.

    North Meck has another!!!!!

    Alan Parks, OF/LHP for the North Meck Vikings became the 5th member of the team to commit to play D1 baseball next season. Alan has signed with the Charlotte 49ers.

    Are they changing the nickname of the Charlotte team to the Vikings?
