    Then there were two

    Brian Corbett (Alexander Central) to Western Carolina
    The only other player with a confirmed college committment in the entire NW4A conference is Alex Chapman (Freedom) to UNC-C.
    Surely there are others...?

    Ryan Brown, SS, Central Cabarrus recently committed to Pfeiffer. Ryan hits leadoff for Central and is one of the toughest outs in the Meca 8. He's a solid MIF who will probably see time at 2B at Pfeiffer. He certainly has a great bat.

    ..... and I've heard a strong rumor (well actually a statement) about another signee for Pfeiffer ... I have to wait until tomorrow when they sign the papers and get them in the mail .......
