But Anson beat Piedmont both times. Thus, second place.

Blademan, you should be proud. I can't believe I've been watching those Piedmont boys the past 3-4 years and haven't had a chance to meet you. Btw, your son is a great ballplayer.

And capon, it is cochamps. Looking at the tiebreaker for "who beat who" is for seeding purposes only for the tournaments. Congrats to Anson as they clearly were the #1 seed, but Anson/Piedmont are cochamps anyway you slice it. The argument Piedmont could make is Anson shouldn't have slipped up and got those 2 losses against lesser teams. Piedmont didn't.

Thankstj21...for the comments and for clearing up the conference thing. I know co-champs and losing our 2 to Anson is kind of like kissing your sister but Piedmont has been on both ends of the same scenario in the past. Maybe we have crossed paths and didn't know it. Jarhead will be playing for the Union County Legion team so maybe we can meet and greet somewhere along the way. Looking forward to it. Matter of fact I'm sure I've probably walked right past many on here at some time or another. Hopefully I can start putting names and faces together. It's starting to look more and more like he'll be playing college ball so I should be around a few more years.
