as with many "travel" sports...

baseball, softball basketball, volleyball etc. there will always be a market for parents who are willing to spend money (sometimes BIG money!) to get their kid's exposure. There are services that will promise this even though the kid really doesn't have the talent to play at that level.

Can these services help? Maybe... but they don't do anything that can't be done on your own with a little research and effort. Anyone, or any thing, that promises to get your kid to college ball, and has never seen them actually play, should be suspect at best.

There is nothing remotely similar to football and softball recruiting except the NCAA rules and regulations govern them. Football programs at most schools have million dollar budgets and softball has thousand dollar budgets and do fund raisers just to have the money to play a quality schedule with the exception of say 50 programs in the country!
We all understand football is the money sport for college and universities and I LOVE FOOTBALL and realize without it some schools could not have the quality academic programs they offer, hats off! Just saying softball can not be compared at all on the recruiting side or importance side to football!
