W. Caldwell: Rumor has it: Styron is out! and Big may be back!

From an inside source of the warrior program it is said Styron has coached his last game at West Caldwell and the inside scoop is Mike Biggerstaff will return to W. Caldwell....... If this is true I feel for the East Burke community( When was the last time the Cavs won 10 games?) ..... The only sad thing is with the shape Styron will leave this program in, It's gonna take a helluva a lot of hard work to get direction in this program but Biggs is the man to do it!

 

Why would Coach Bigg want to take a cut in pay to come back to West Caldwell. I hear he is real happy with what he has but some people just like to come home. Can't wait to see the Warriors on the hardwood

Hey, no dreaming here , came from a very reliable source and Lenoir is still Bigs home and inside his heart is still Warrior Blue!... And whats funny to me is Friday night at the game with Lee County I was dissapointed what I heard in the stands at East Burke!... I heard so many fans grumbling about the coaching in the stands and it made me sick to know biggs has brought an 10 win season to EB( when was the last time?) and fans there still grumbled about play calls! Go figure?... I will get to the bottom of this rumor before the end of the day even if I have to ask Joe Don(biggs son) ?.... At least Biggs accomplishements will be appreciated at WC.... Biggerstaff even in his retirement years still was at WC football games every friday night and although Biggs may be content at EB his heart is still a warrior and with Danny Anderson and Bob Brown at West Caldwell and remarks that have been made off the record I can see this happening... He's already done what he could possibly do at EB... Face one thing in fact... At EB coach big will have good teams but never a State Title for with the calibur of Athletes the Cavs have they could never seriously challenge for a state title in big 4-A... When he was at West Caldwell he came close on a couple of occasions at winning state crowns... Here he has the speed to work with and the potential for a future State title... Although he has great kids at EB he does not have the speed to match the big 4-A schools from the Charlotte, Winston, Greensboro and Ricmond areas! Coach Big will also get those kids at West that wont play anymore interested again because he will develope a winner again here... All of life is not about money dude and besides I do beleive their is a plan that will get him close if not match what Burke county is paying him for at WC you can bet he will also be AD as well as asst. principle.... All I'm saying is Cav fans have a right to worry because I saw so many unappreciative assholes in those stands friday night and I've known Coach Biggs for over 20 years and although he is enjoying his coaching days at EB this man is still a warrior inside!Even he will admit that to his closest friends!

 

Of course fans grumble about things the coaches do. Have you ever been to a high school game and not heard this in the stands. I don't think so. That's what makes these games fun, trying to 2nd guess the coach. Coach Bigg and the rest of the coaching staff have done a wonderful job this year, We would not be 10-1 if they hadn't.

 

From what I've heard its a done deal but nothing will be said or done until the conclusion of the football season...

JYD, there you go talking out both sides of your mouth. Haven't you come on here and bashed WC current coaches, even when they were winning last year. Heck I was at the North Surry game last year and you guys were winning 58-6 and you were all complaining about the coaches. Is Bigg a good coach yes, but the fans at both places have both aparenttly complained when winning.
