Watauga HS baseball

    Can anyone give a scouting report on that team.

    Not really a scouting report but just a few thoughts on the game. Something will have to budge Porter Ridge has only given up 1 run in their first 2 playoff games while Watauga has scored 27 runs. It should be a great match up.

    Well coached team. Good hitting from 1 to 9 with power mixed in throughout the lineup. Good team speed, able to steal, hit and run as well as bunt for hits. Two top notch pitchers. Catcher has good arm. They make few errors and keep their heads in the game. As with most high school teams it comes down to the pitchers hitting their spots and managing the game.

    No my son didn't go there, wish he did.

    One thing we all know about watauga is that your gonna get a well coached team that plays the game the right way. Solid team.

    I'm sure someone was waiting for me to appear on the topic of "internet scouting reports" - it's moot but I always just wonder...
    WHY DO PEOPLE JUST GIVE TEAMS UP ON A POST BOARD!!!???
    (I know, incorrect punctuation.)

    And yes, I know football exchanges film and yada yada.
    At least make a phone call. And I surely hope this isn't a conference coach offering this info up. I surprisingly had folks call me wanting stuff on teams in my conference - a NO NO!:nono:

    Catcoach I definitely understand where your comin from. I wasn't tryin to give a team up or anything like that. I'm just a fan and have seen watauga play a few times this year. I was just giving my opinion of them.

    Porter Ridge vs Watagua

    very well pitched game, one error was the difference. 1-0 PR Kwasnik kept there hitters off balance all day
