This should be a great game between two very good teams. Watauga enters the game at 8-2 (5-0) while Alexender is 11-0 (4-0). From what I hear there is supposed to be a good sized crowd althought it might be smaller than expected due to the cold, windy weather. Weather aside, it will be a great game between two solid pitching teams as well as hitting teams. There should be no extra motivation needed for tonight but don't count on anything more than a great ballgame. Not sure who is pitching on either side, I would say Payne/Kinnard for AC and Greene for Watauga. Lets keep any crap away from the ballpark tonight and let the newly born rivalry grow on the field. good luck to all.

Watauga JV's defeated the ACHS JV's 10-9. AC was losing 5-0 until the 3rd inning. The Cougars came back and scored 6 runs. The Pioneers rallied to make the score 10-6 in the 6th inning. A late effort from ACHS tallied 3 more runs in the top of the 7th but it wasn't enough. They could've tied it up on a fly ball to the outfield but didn't.

    FINAL

    Watauga JV's - 10
    ACHS JV's - 9
