Wednesday is a fairly light day so far and is generally just out-of-conference games .... Here is the games I know about so far. All games should be starting at 4:30 PM

3/12 South Meck @ Harding (Venue change - thanks Southloop)
    3/12 Independence @ Butler
    3/12 Kannapolis @ East Meck
3/12 South Rowan @ West Rowan
    3/12 Vance at Myers Park
3/12 West Meck @ Hunter Huss
3/12 East Gaston at North Meck (SPECIAL 6:45 PM game time)

AL Brown is a young team that is playing well and should be pushed hard by the talented squad at East Meck.

West Rowan has an excellent team this year and South Rowan may not prove to be enough of a challenge.

Harding is an unknown this year, beating Waddell and losing to South Meck. South Meck has started to show their dominance and quality after an early season falter in the cold.

Independence, Vance & Hunter Huss haven't been competitive yet this season, but that may change.

Hopewell has a makeup game, but I'm not sure who the opponent is.

Special Note: Under the Summary Results thread, we not only keep up with the running game scores, but also have the next weeks schedule for all teams that have submitted them so far.

We are starting Week #3 in the Summary.

Impact Baseball if you can make it Wilkes Central on Tuesday (3/11/03) you may get a cahnce to see two of the top juniors in the area throw against each other..Wilkes I would imagine will throw Wesley Cogdle and Alexander I am told hasn't started the Payne kid yet..May be worth the drive..Plus Wilkes I am told has a nice field now that the communtiy college is using it..

I'd like to come see Payne myself.

I've heard that AC is 2-1 so far this year, the only loss being to Hickory (which looks like it's going to be really strong this year). I haven't heard anything yet about Wilkes.... How are they doing Ajax????

Hmmm...All of this rain must've short-circuited the Bagdome's Advanced Retractor System.

    Prepster:

On the contrary...South was supposed to play at Harding on 3/5 and Harding could not get their field game-ready so the game that was supposed to be played @ Harding on 3/5 was changed to be played @ South on 3/5 and...now the second scheduled South Meck vs. Harding game scheduled for 3/11 is going to be held @ Harding. South Meck and Harding each just switched their home games out that's all!

The Bagdome is still quite functional!

Wilkes is competitive when Cogdle is on the mound, but when he is not then I think they are mediocre. Record wise they may be 1-3 or 2-2..Not real sure, but you should make it to Wilkes Central tomorrow to watch these two throw..
