Weddington/South Rowan

    Game moved up to 6pm for weather concerns.


    Does Cinderella (South) still have enough time before midnight?

    W over S Rowan 9-0

    Cinderella's slipper was broken tonight.

    Weddington gets hot again with the bats and puts 9 on S Rowan. Rbi's coming from 4 different players (Bostic 2, Shellhorn 4, Knight 2, Simpson 1)

    Collins gets the win allowing no hits over 4 innings, with 4k's. Pope pitches the final 3 innings (5 k's, 2 hits)

    W Rowan threatened to score in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, but could not find a way to get it done. They left 8 runners on base in those 3 innings.


    My understanding is that Weddington will head up the mountain to play N. Buncombe on Thursday for a 5:00 start.
