    Rockingham County 4 5 innings

    Ragsdale got off to a good start to the 2013 season. Lefty Matt Horkey (JR) got the start and was staked to a 3-0 lead while pitching two scoreless innings. Avery Hodges (JR) came from behind the plate pitched the next three for the Tigers. In the fourth a walk, hit batter, a lazy double to right center and an error on a bunt and a sac fly scored four for Rockingham who took a 4-3 lead.

    But Ragsdale came right back loading the bases with no outs and LF Kennan Lynn (JR) took a pitch over the fence in CF for a grand slam and a 7-4 lead. Ragsdale would score two more in the fourth and after a scoreless fifth by Hodges scored five more in the fifth with a 2 run walk off home run by 3B Cesar Trejo (SO) ending the game. Before Trejo's homer, Lynn added an RBI double to go with his grand slam.

    Ragsdale travels to Wheatmore tomorrow then heads down to Wilson on Saturday to take on DH Conley at the TOBS Classic.

    Ashley had 1 hit and drew 13 walks and West Brunswick had a hard time over coming those walks. West Brunswick (0-1) will play at New Hanover on Friday!
