If Ben Fultz's starting for Ragsdale? My youngest son played with him and he was a good ballplayer but a little undersized. I know he runs very well but his arm and bat were suspect. Obviously he has improved his skills to play for Ragsdale varsity.

I did not mean for it to sound like I am not proud of Ben. I am very proud of his accomplishments. Ragsdale has an outstanding team and for a freshman to make it is outstanding. I wish him and his father Mike all the best in the future.

    Fuquay 11-1 over Northwood

Fuquay came up to Pittsboro and put a whoopin' on our Northwood boys. With 3 freshmen and 1 soph in our lineup we had a bit of that "deer in the headlights" look. The Bengals will be tough this year in 4-A. They had 22 players, all seniors and juniors. Carver pitched well and Cameron Conner is a legit prospect. Their catcher, Bryant Clark hit on of those "Major League" homeruns...."too high... too high... too f#%$ing far!
We'll be okay, just need to get everyone up to speed for varsity ball.
