    Riverside vs Chapel Hill

    Chapel Hill 4
    Riverside 3
    F/8

For the second straight night, Riverside plays very poorly and can't overcome 5 errors. Chapel Hill played inspired, making the plays they needed down the stretch including a game saving put out at the plate from right in the 7th.

RHS goes to 16-3 overall, and 12-1 in conference.
Next game is Monday @ Person @ 7pm.

I am in Asheboro visiting my 82 yr old mom for Mother's Day. She has been under the weather. The rain delay from Thursday night screwed me up. I couldn't delay the trip a day without risk of her giving me a spanking. :fryingpan: I guess baseball has to take a backseat to mothers occasionally.

I don't know how we could be co-champs since we both have two losses but they lost to us twice but hey, we get the #1 seed. NB is just a good solid program but their fans sure do hate them some Greenville Rose.

Congratulations to Southern Alamance. Groce threw extremely well. He had command of 3 pitches last night. Seen him 5 times in 2 years and that was his best. Good luck in playoffs. Webb finishes 17-8 going to playoffs.

    Central - 6
    JM Robinson - 0

Dalton Shuford threw a 1 hit shutout as well as hit two huge homeruns in the win. Corban Cochran got the loss for JM Robinson. From what I heard there was some heated contraversy in the game with Cochran hitting Central's Shortstop after one of Shuford's HR's.
