Hopewell scores 6 in the bottom of the 7th to win

Hopewell came up with a huge 6 run rally in the bottom of the 7th to come back from a 8-3 deficit to beat cross-town rival North Meck 9-8 in front of an appreciative home crowd. I can't provide the details of the big rally, but it must have been something to see as these two schools "get after it" in any and all athletic endeavors.

    Roanoke Rapids 15
    Warren County 5

    WP: Tyler Deloach 3 IP, 0 runs, 8 K's

Hitting: RR had 16 hits on the night. They were led by Deloach who went 4-4 with a double, a homerun, and 5 RBI.

RR finishes the regular season with a record of 15-7 overall and 11-1 in the NCC 2A.

NCC 2A standings (as I know them)
    1. Roanoke Rapids
    2. Bunn
    3. Southern Vance
4-6. Could end up a 3 way tie depending on makeup games. So I am not sure right now how this will end up between Franklinton, Granville Central, and Warren County.
    7. Northwest Halifax

The top 3 seeds for the playoffs are set. We are just waiting to find out who the 4th seed will be out of this conference.
