    As posted above,

    Freedom-55
    ACHS- 41

Alexander played with Freedom pretty well, The Cougars came out and played a great first half and lead had a 24-18 halftime lead. Coach Fox made some adjustments at the half for the Lady Patriots as Freedom played much better in the first half. It seemed as if Freedom played better when Ali Ford wasnt in the game, but thats due to the fact that when she was in the game, she was being face guarded by Meg Chapman from ACHS.

As well as the last time these two played, ACHS was able to hold down Ali Ford. She only scored 2 in the first half and 13 for the game. And 5 or so of the points were from the charity stripe as ACHS started to foul some late. Chapman did a good job on Ford both games allowing her only 11 the first game and 13 tonight.

    Freedom Scoring
    Chelsea Connelly- 14
    Ali Ford- 13
    Kim Brown- 9
    Jasmine Conley- 8
    Olivia Surratt- 7

    ACHS Scoring
    Amanda Jones- 11
    Bianca Johnson- 9
    Meg Chapman- 8
    Kirstin Morris- 6
    Chelsea Brown- 5

Don't guess hoopsfan can say much after the last 2 games. I will be the first to admit there are some terrible high school coaches around and I don't mind someone naming names if that be the case but seems like the Watagua coach is headed in the right direction. After a tough start to keep the girls playing and not to give up they have picked up a couple big wins that will be something to build on for next year. Congrats on a good job up there

If I were one of the top 3 teams in the conference I would be very careful not to look past these ladies in the tournament. Great job Watauga.

    Well said...

Things could get really interesting for Watauga if they were to win their game next week. That would put the Lady Pioneers at 11-12 overall. Ever since the state changed the playoff format to include Wild Cards, I've seen teams with much worse overall records earn a Wild Card spot.
