I thought she did as well as the male officials did. I think they all loss the peas out of their whistles. Both teams played as hard as any teams I've seen all year. There were fews uncontested shots. It seemed like both teams were passing the ball more and really working for the open look. Just one great defensive game. I hope McDowell picks it up against Freedom Friday. That will be another great game.

Great! East Burke has an open date that night. I'll be up to watch that one. It should be a great game.

    Physical Play

Seemed to me that Petey Hausley let the physical play get to him a little bit. Also, I don't think McDowell's 3 point shooter, the Daulton kid (?) scored all night. Great game to watch, the intensity was good and the crowd was into the game as well.

This one of the best games I have see in a while. It went back and forth all the way down the wire. It was tied at 57 at the end of regulation. Freedom had a shot to win it at the buzzer but the shot came up short. ACHS was able to pull out a big win heading into the last week of conference play before the tournament.

Every time one team would come down a nail a three ball to push them ahead, the other team would come right back down the court and bang one right back to re-take the lead. Ryan Hargrave connected with an old fashion three point play with 1:09 left in OT to put ACHS up by 1, then Freedom came down a missed a shot and gave ACHS the ball back, The Cougars then come down and Justin Mayberry gets the ball in the corner and nails a three pointer with hands in his face to make the score 69-65 with around 50 seconds left. Freedom then couldnt score after that and ACHS made two more free throws the ice the game.

    Dear Alexander Central,

Thanks to the players and Coach Wills for never laying down especailly after losing some close games in recent weeks. Your contribution to the NW4A title race will be greatly appreciated.

    Yours Truly,
