    DR TIMMY KING

My estimate for Timmy is 87-89 on his Fast Ball. Our Charlotte Diamondbacks AAU/USSSA team sported a pretty good pitching staff since they were 12 yrs old----highlighted by Timmy King, Ryan Morris and Jordan Cudney, to name a few...TK has been strikin' em out since he was knee-high to a grasshopper!!

TC Roberson 11, Smoky Mountain 1

    WP - Josh Thrailkill (5-0) 4 IP, 3H, 0ER, 0BB, 8K's

Five home runs for the Rams tonight....Cameron Maybin (15), Wes Williams (8), Justin Jackson (5), John Ramsey (4), Kyle Lanning (1)

    TCR 18-2 (14-2)

This sets up the big rematch between TCR and Franklin on Tuesday for the MAC title. This time around look for Thrailkill on the mound for the Rams and probably Savaiko for Franklin. It should be quite a game - 4:30 at Roberson.

    West Forsyth vs RJ Reynolds

    West Forsyth - 4
    RJ Reynolds - 5

    (WP) Jay Laramore
    (LP) Dusty Snow

This was Senior Night for Reynolds, and the seniors came through with a win in their final home game against cross-town rival West Forsyth.

If West Forsyth had won this game they would have been the outright CPC Conference champions. With the loss they ended up in a 3-way tie for first place with South Rowan and North Davidson, all with 7-5 records.

South Rowan lost their last 4 conference games to finish at 7-5.

Reynolds finished 4th with a 6-6 conference record.

Davie finished 5th with a 3-9 conference record.

    Seedings for the CPC Tournament:
    1. North Davidson (7-5)
    2. South Rowan (7-5)
    3. West Forsyth (7-5)
    4. R.J. Reynolds (6-6)
    5. Davie (3-9)

    Parkland vs Dudley

    Dudley: 10
    Parkland: 5

With Jon Helsabeck's game time decision a negative, Coach Massie had difficult line-up decisions to make and did as good as possible. The Mustangs went down 3-0 in the first and were never able to even tie the score the entire game. The Mustangs lost a chance at the play-offs as Dustin Joyce, Bubba Donathan, Mel Crocket, and Jacob Ray all played their last home game.

From what I have been told 87-89 mph is about right.

West Henderson a bunch, Avery 1
    WP Matthew Pruitt
    LP T Davis

    For WH:
    Josh Moore 2/5, 4 rbi's
    Spencer Linn 4/5, a double, HR, 5 rbi's
    Jerry Brinkley 3/4, a home run, 4 rbi's
    Matthew Pruitt, 1/1 (5 walks), a home run, 4 rbi's
    Jason Merrill, 2/5, a home run, 4 rbi's
Seth Grant 2/5, a home run
Caleb Cuevas, 2/3 with a double

WH is now 20-2, 13-1 in the Western Highlands Conference.

This wins gives WH at least a tie for the conference championship with 2 games to play, and due to the tiebreaker gives WH the #1 seed from the WHC in the state playoffs.

    Duck

    Providence 20
    Watauga 8

Both teams swung it well but Providence didn't walk or hit people. Both teams kicked it around a bit. Not pretty.

Watauga hosts East Burke Monday in the first round of the NW4A tournament.
