    Yoder pitched the whole game for East. Andy McCall hit a solo homerun in the 4th i believe.

    LP: Walker

    Hickory: Isaac Harrow - 3/3 3 RBIs; Jamie Yarbrough - 3/4; Michael Baker - 1/2; Justin Dickson - 1/3, 2 RBIs. Josh Punch - 1/1, 3 run HR

    Hickory moves to 8-3 in the SWF 3-A and 15-7 overall. Final conference game tomorrow at Kings Mountain at 3:00 pm.

    All I can say about this game is WOW!!! Big win for the Wonders!
    Now we need Mooresville to "choke-up" against Lake Norman or West Rowan tomorrow!!! :banana:

    Mike Facchinei threw his 5th shutout of the year improving his record to 7-0. Game ended after 6 innings do to slaughter rule. Facchinei gave up 4 hits, 2 BB, and struck out 11. Facchinei also hit his 6th HR of the year. Rocky Guthrie had a HR, Kemper Booth was 3/3, Mitchel Pridmore and Luke Lovelace had 2 hits a piece. WH is now 21-0 and 14-0 in conference. Facchinei has now had 75 k's in 36 innings with an era of .58.

    Kannapolis played very good .
    I still dont figure what was up with pulling Sherrill in the 7th with the score 6-1 and bringing in Petty from center. I dont have a problem with it as long as he was warmed up properly.. btw: the radar gun where i was standing got Petty at a measly 92mph, wonder what he can do after getting good and loose.
