    Kurt Fulginiti was 2-4... Max had a rare 0-fer in Thursday's CCS win

    Friday
    The umpire had a strike zone the size of a pie plate. That, combined with a CCS team swinging the lumber (old school lingo) resulted in 3 2B's, a HR and some other mischief to take a 7-0 lead in the middle of the first. T Kirkpatrick wound up the day with 2 HR.

    CCS captured the CISAA crown outright with its 28th win of the year.

    WH finishes the regular season at 22-2
    Tuscola is 14-9 with a game vs North Henderson on Sat.

    On a side note. West Henderson's team batting average to finish the regular season is .436. The current state record is .408. This team also has hit 78 doubles on the season, the current record is 75.

    Wow, sounds like Wyant really lit it up for a 10th grader! He's not a normal starter though is he? Who's place did he start in?

    Tuscola 8, North Henderson 5 (this game played Sat)

    Tuscola finishes the season at 15-9, 2nd place in the MAC, and will play at Fred T foard in the 1st round of the 3A playoffs Tuesday.

    North finishes the season at 17-6, 2nd place in the WAC, and will play at Owen in the 1st round of the 2A playoffs Tuesday.
