    Thanks SCPBUC!

Brody Koerner, man I slaughtered his name like he did our "hitters". Thanks, I wanted everyone to know what a fine job this young man did on the mound. This was pitching at its best, hope we don't have to face him again. He has some great offspeed pitches and he WILL throw 'em on a fastball count. Seems to work backwards in the count, of his 11 K's, 8 were looking. Most of those were fastballs right down the middle. Smart pitcher, who never got rattled! Funny story, my son , (who had the only hit for Kannapolis) said yeah Dad he was good, but he threw me a "flat fastball" and I say, is that the one you hit? He says no, thats the one I struck out on in the first inning and I just missed it! LOL!!!!

The Titans improved their record to 3-1 with a 4-0 win over West Charlotte. The Titans got a strong pitching performance from Nolan Hampton (W, 1-0) and Jordan Blair. Hampton got the start and threw 4 innings giving up 3 hits and recording 6 strikeouts. Blair closed out the final 3 innings facing just 9 batters and recording 7 strikeouts.
Offensively the Titans were led by Jared Sobo (1-2, 2B, 2 stolen base, 1 RBI), Kyle Himler (1-2 2B), Cole Blythe (1-2 2B), Daniel Whitecavage (1-3, 2 RBI), and Justin Hammond (1-3, stolen base).
