Matt Neal pitched a great game not over powering just hit his spots and mixed up his curve ball well. He didn't have any help defensively. He should of won the game. Maybe they will throw him again next time. If Matt was to beat Aycock he missed his opportunity. Aycock batters need to start swinging at pitches and not be to selective and get in the hole. When their 5 and 6 hitters get it going they will be tough throughout the line up.

North beats Myers Park 9-7 at Jack Sink Field. Sophomore Johnny Piedmonte had a great start for North Meck, going 4 innings and giving up just one run. Michael Maggio got the win for the Vikings going the final 1 2/3 innings.

David Shank and Jip Richards both had 2 RBI doubles in the 7th inning to seal the deal.

The Vikings move to 3-0 on the season.

West Forsyth 4 North Forsyth 0

Ben Currie (Wingate) gave up 1 hit and had 14K's in the Titan victory. Ben was one pitch away from his 2nd consecutive no hitter but it was broken up on a ball hit up the middle. The Titans were led by Josh Clark's 2 run homerun on his third at bat of the season (sprained foot). Dylan Pfingst had a two run rbi single and Jonathan Holt went 2-3 with a double. Wil Hasselbeck threw well for North Forsyth. The Titans will travel to Alexander Central for a 7 o'clock game tomorrow
