    Mike Sluja earned his second win on the year for the Spartans (2-2). Chris Timberlake (jr.) homered in the second. Sophomore Ryan Smith 3-3 with 2B and two runs scored. Zach Wagner, Dustin Cook, and Danny Sawyer each had two hits apiece. Michael Stein led the game off by being hit by a pitch, went first to third on a passed ball, and scored on the next wild pitch, putting SV up 1-0 without having put a ball in play.

    Sun Valley hosts Central Cabarrus in the rematch tonight at 7.

    Most students attending Harding don't play baseball or have any interest. And the one's that do play don't have the background of summer and fall baseball as well as instructions in how to get better. It's an all too familiar scenario found in many schools in Charlotte.

    Seems Northern Nash lost a ton last year in Tyler Joyner and other seniors. Didn't know it would be this bad. The 2 teams will meet again today at DH Conley @ 7 p.m.

    Trey Talley 2-3,Joel Adcock 2-3(2b,rbi),Ty Breedlove 2-3(2b,3 rbi),Zack Morris 2-4(2b,2rbi).Dylan Newton,Geoff Cash and patrick Whitt each had a hit.Cash had a HR.

    Parkland put the ball in play and pitching was tough until late. Parkland doesn't get cheated at the plate.
