    TEAM--123 456 7 R H E
    SG----311 010 1 7 10 2
    PER---104 015 X 11 11 3

    WP- Elliott Tolley (2-0) 4.1 IP, 2ER, 8K's, 2 BB
    LP - Micheal Robbins (1-1)

    Leading Hitters:
    SG - Jeff May, SO/C (3-3, HR, 2B, 3 RBI's 3 runs); Micheal Robbins (2-5, 2B, RBI); Josh Darroch (3-4, RBI); Keith Goodwin (1-4, RBI); Pratt Maynard (1-3)

    PER - Aaron Campbell JR/C (3-3, HR, 2B, 4 RBI); Robbie Byrd (2-3, 2 RBI, 4 runs); Doug Weaver (2-4, 2 RBI's); Jeremy Peed (1-3, 3B, 2 RBI's); Dustin Reaves (1-3, RBI, run); Cody Jones (1-2); Craig Reid (1-3, 2 runs, SB)

The Rockets were lucky to get out of this one alive!! Sophomore Catcher Jeff May (SG) launched a 3 run bomb in the top of the 1st. (Incidentally, Jeff is the son of Coach May). Man, that ball is orbit by now. Person rallied to finally go ahead in the bottom of the 6th, keyed by RBI singles by Robbie Byrd and Doug Weaver and a 3 run shot by Aaron Campbell. Ellipott Tolley pitched 4.1 innings of solid relief with 8 K's and 2 BB. South Granville Starter Pratt Maynard (SOPH) pitched well for South Granville.

This was a fun game to watch although my hair is shorter and grayer. South Granville is a class program that will be highly successful this season in their conference.

North swung the bats tonight and East made some errors to help the cause. Also East didn't swing the bats well tonight....I think they had 1 hit but I'm not completely sure of that

    EF: 2-3 (1-1)

    Ragsdale goes to 6-0

beats Ledford 7-3 in Jamestown tonight on a perfect evening for a baseball game.

Trevor Mullins pitched four innings for the win going to 3-0 on the season. His fast ball was smoking tonight although I've seen him look sharper. He gave up an run in the first ( I missed Ledford's AB so not sure how they got it.) Mullins had four strikeouts and gave up 2 hits and another run the three innings I saw him pitch.

Brandon Phelps pitched two innings of middle relief with three SOs, 2 walks, 1 H and one ER. Catlin Carter pitched a 123 7th.

Tyler Rankin led the Tigers going 2-3, 2 2B, 2 RBIs, a run and 2 stolen bases. Phelps was 2-2 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Brent O Berry was 2-4 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
