Yep...after leaving that game I was thinking, "can this team be beaten?" I'm sorry to hear about Spencer Hendel's injury (I hate it for him), but it won't slow down the Panther Express. Coach Hignight just turns around and says, "Next..." and out rolls a new arm destined for All Conference. Even though they are led by talented seniors, they are still a very young team, but not your normal young team.

I can't wait to see them play against Weddington with Spencer Terry on the bump.

    TEAM - 123 456 7 R H E
    PER - 000 000 0 0 1 5
    SG - 010 012 x 4 6 4

    WP - Pratt Maynard (CG, 1 Hit, 0 runs, 16 K's 2 BB)
    LP - Hunter Wrenn (4 IP, 1 run, 0 ER, 9 K's 3 BB)

    Leading Hitters:

    Person - Dustin Reaves (1-3, 2B)
South Granville - Chris Luck (2-4, run), Jeff May (2-3), Josh Darroch (1-3, 2B, RBI), Jonathan Perry (1-3, run)

This was a good game to watch, the pitching was very good with Maynard and Wrenn battling... We made a couple of crucial errors, that led to some SG runs. Those guys battle and took advantage of our mistakes like all good teams should...

Though I have never seen these 2 teams play something tells me they are good. With that being said, 16 k's is very impressive, I don't care who you are playing.
