    Parkwood vs Weddington

Weddington wins 7-1 at home. I wasn't able to be there, but I understand Boone through a complete game allowing one run (HR).

    Weddington now stands at 4-1.

They go at it again Fri night at Parkwood.

    Anson Co. 3
    Sun Valley 1

Anson moves to 1-3 overall, 1-0 in SCC play. Sun Valley drops to 3-3, 0-1 in the SCC.

    Weddington 7
    Parkwood 1

Weddington is now 4-1, 1-0 while Parkwood drops to 2-2(not sure about overall), but definitely 0-1 in SCC play.

    Marvin Ridge 3
    Porter Ridge 2

Marvin Ridge has one loss overall (I think) and is 1-0 in the SCC while Porter Ridge drops to 1-2, 0-1.

Friday's conference games are Anson @ Sun Valley, Weddington @ Parkwood, and Porter Ridge @ Marvin Ridge.

    Cary - 1

Outstanding job by GH's Joe Pistaccio with the complete game win. Allowed 8 hits but completely slammed the door shut on any and all Cary rallies with his go get 'em attitude and bulldog mentality. App State got a good one. Adam Bogoshian went deep in the top of the 1st for GH. Jon Grudee had a big "break it open" pinch-hit triple for the Falcons to give a little cushion.

Another bummer night by the Imps leaving who knows how many guys on base. Joey Bone and Matthew Alexander looked good in relief for Cary allowing no runs in 4 innings of work. Imps drop to 0-5 overall and 0-5 in conference.
