Although the game was never in question with Olympic hitting well with solid pitching. POB was fun to watch. POB fought hard, made some outstanding plays: 3B made a terrific play on a slow roller, RF made a diving catch, 2B turned a smooth double play, SS with range. Most impressive was the way POB played together, organized, enthusiastic. Coach Larry Kinard's team represents baseball well. Nice job sir.

    Tuesday:
    Mt. Pleasant 1
    Hickory Ridge 2

Pitchers for Tigers and the Bulls controlled the game and kept it to a low hitting affair.

    Friday:
    Mt. Pleasant 4
    Hickory Ridge 13

Bats came alive for both teams in spite of a extremely challenging strike zone. Both pitchers struggled to find something to work. The Bulls had nine hits, the Tigers eight- The Bulls just did a better job getting runs across the plate including a 3 run homer from senior, Parker Henderson.
