    McMichael vs. Grimsley

    Grimsley defeated McMichael at home 7-1. They improved its record to 3-1. McMichael falls to 2-3. Grimsley senior Jon Wilkenson pitched a complete game throwing just 79 pitches giving up just one unearned run to get his 2nd win of the season. Freshman George Carter got two hits including a triple and junior catcher, Gabe Dimock knocked in two runs. Junior, Yuri Johnston and Senior, Matt Netteshiem eached knocked in two runs in the 5 run 6th. Senior Pat Oechsli added two hits as well. Grimsley continues a tough stretch with Ledford on Wednesday and Southern Allamance on Friday.

    SKYLAND - Roberson junior Adam Curtis pitched a complete game and struck out 10 batters, leading the Rams to their first win of the season.
    Roberson (1-3) scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and another in the fifth to win its Mountain Athletic Conference opener.

    I was told that Knightdale's Cameron Richards pitched a great game. 8 K's, 8 Hits, 2 ER. Smithfield-Selma's Tate Parrish was obviously equal to the task - limiting Knightdale to just 2 hits.
