Myers Park loses 6-5 on the front end of a double-header to Mt. Lebanon of Penn. Good base clearing double in the first by Billy Zweier though.

    Charlotte Christian 4 @ Hillcrest, SC 2

    WP: Gaines

Christian beat a high ranked hillcrest hs team today 4-2, Kirkpatrick had 2 hits, Fulginiti's each had hits, Gaines and Martin had hits as well; Christian played great defense and did the job offensively. Hillcrest has a beautiful field btw, the two teams paly each other again at christian later in the year.

CCS now travels down to Fla. to paly some of the best comp. in the southeast, good luck guys

congrats to christian on their recent good play, they have won 6 straight games, but the thing is they've had to beat legit squads in all 6 games, so way to go fellas on playing some great baseball. fla. will be a real test for them as i'm sure their pitching will run very thin with the amount of games they will play. good luck guys and represent nc baseball for us
