    North Davidson 5 - RJ Reynolds 2

Congratulations to North Davidson. They jumped on Torrey Johnson (Sr.) for 5 hits in the first inning to score 3 runs. Then they tacked on 2 more in the 7th against Hampton Foushee (Sr.) with a two out 3-2 single to left field by catcher Eric Roach. Hampton had walked two batters and hit a third to load the bases with 2 outs.

Left hander Andrew Hunt pitched a complete game for ND to get the win. He kept the Demons off balance the whole game giving up 2 runs on 5 hits. He struck out 4 and walked 1. Reynolds could only scrape together a run in the first and another in the second.

    WP - Andrew Hunt
    LP - Torrey Johnson

    Line:
    ND - 5R, 6H, 0E, 9LOB, 8K, 4BB, 2HBP
    RJR - 2R, 5H, 1E, 3LOB, 4K, 1BB

    South Meck vs Olympic

A little more info on The South Meck / Olympic game...South pounded out 13 hits scoring 10 runs in 5 innings (sorry Braves, 5 innings not 6).

Chase Austin was 3-4 with 2 RBI
Johnathan Ratledge was 2-2 with a walk and 2 RBI
Reid Rollison was 2-3 with 3 RBI
Wes Borden was 1-3 and 1 RBI
Ryan Morris was 1-2 with 1 RBI
    Daniel Foster was 1-1
    Cyril Daniel was 2-3
Zack Kennedy was 1-4 with 1 RBI

Morris pitched well going 5 shutout innings allowing no runs on 2 hits, 1 walk and 7K's.

    Great job South Meck!

    NW Cabarrus vs. Concord

Its came to my attention that Concord can never beat Northwest. Last year about the same thing happen to the Spiders as it did this year. The spiders were up by 4, and the pitching didn't hold up. BUt hey thats Baseball. If Hunter Wyke would have pulled that last BOMB he hitt in the last inning, no doubt that Concord wins that game 9-7.

    Correction:
The players name is Hunter Wyke. not WHITE

WP - Phillip Townsend, Complete Game

The transfer from Gibbons is pitching great for Cary this year. He just about beat Wakefield on the road earlier in the year before Wakefield came from behind to win in the 7th, and he struck out 15+ against Fuquay (which also resulted in a loss for the Imps in extra innings) recently. Tonight it sounds like he pitched another gym by getting the complete game win over rival Green Hope on the road.

Cary faces Apex on Friday night before leaving for a Spring Break trip to Florida to play/see some games down there.

PMT -- You have any details about this game? I just got a brief update on it and I could be wrong about Townsend throwing all 7.

Another score from the :229031_ha EAST.

    Wilmington Ashley - 2
    New Bern - 0

No details yet, but Adam Warren was not the starting pitcher for NB. NB sent Joey Young to the mound.
