Weddington, 16 runners left on base??

Quite a few left on, as did Butler for sure, but 16????

Don't really matter, there were quite a few runners stranded by both teams...Besides the 3 run HR by Magnum in the 6th, the score wouldn't have been as close....2 Good teams...... Butler got the big hits, Weddington didn't with runners on, and that was the difference!!

I think they left 13 on and Butler 5 left. Butler got the timely hit in the 5th and they got the job done. Weddington had many opportunities to open that game up in the 1st 4 Innings and didnt get the job done. Your right that was the difference in this game as well as Butler's bullpen is better, Bollinger came in and stopped the ralley in the 6th and Smith closed the door in the 7th. Weddington's starter Pilkington threw real well through 5 giving up only 5 singles until the triple by Wixted and when Weddington went to thier pen they gave up 4R in an Inning. Tough to come back from that. Butler is a very good team solid in all phases and a team that can win this league and should be ranked high in the polls. Weddington has a lot of talent but just seems has not gelled as a team, if they can get it together they can make a run.
