    What happened to West Forsyth?

Is Mt Tabor that good or did West have a down day?

Its like Coach Pope said about the CPC its a league that on any given night anyone could get beat. Tabor is pretty good. They have Senior leadership mixed with young guys, pitching, power guys, base hit guys, speed, defense, and the same can be said about West. This is the ACC of high school baseball.

    West Stanly/Forest Hills

West Stanly defeats Forest Hills 5-1. Tanner Furr goes yard for 2 runs for West Stanly. Wil Huneycutt picks up the win. Huneycutt is now 2-0 on the year. The score is closer than what it really was. West left numerous runners on base. West Stanly plays Monroe, East Rowan, and Mount Pleasant next week.

Wow...talking about a statement game; Independence has a very good team.
The ball must have looked like a beachball to Prov and a golfball to Indy.

From an Independence point of view, I blame this game on Coach Higgy. When he has all day Friday and Saturday to prepare his field for a game, rumor is that something mysterious is done. I haven't figured it out yet, but I have my crack TBR investigative reporter checking into it...then again, it may be that he has an outstanding team, but as was suggested to me, I don't want to "blow them up" on TBR.
