Is this game still on for today or has it been cancelled? I can't imagine it will be played today

    Maiden(2a) at St. Stephens(3a)

    Maiden 7
    St. Stephens 1

Another solid night on the mound for Justin Sizemore as he pitches five solid innings giving up 1 unearned run. Matt Kelly did a nice job the last two innings as he struck out the side in the seventh to end the game. At the plate Maiden(3-0, 3-0) was led by Jacob Lineberger with a couple of doubles and Matt Kelly with multiple hits with some rbi's along with Wesley Killian's 2 run homerun. Keep it rolling Big Blue. Cody Hines took the lose for the Indians.

    Watauga 4

    WP: Joey Duncan (6 IP, 4R, 9H, 8K's, 3BB)

Watauga scores a run early, McDowell answers with 4 in the 3rd including a 3-run blast by (DH) Tre Young. The Pioneers answer with a pair of runs to pull within 4-3. Young then answered for McDowell in the 5th with a two-out run scoring single. Watauga gets two runners on to start the 7th but a great play by relief pitcher Eli Miller on a squeeze gets the first out at 3rd. Then the Titans finish it off with a 4-6-3 DP on the next Pioneer at bat.

Biggest win for McDowell in a long time...first time since the 2002 season that the Titans are in sole possession of first place.

    East Burke at Alexander Central

Not much hitting in this one. Rhoney 19 K's 2 Hits 1 Run, Francisco and Millsaps(1 inning) combined for 10 K's 6 Hits 2 Runs. Final East Burke 2 AC 1. This kid Rhoney is the real deal, he can flat out pitch. He totally dominated the game.
