    So......what would be more satisfying? Winning your conference and going deep into the playoffs - possibly a state championship - or gaining a spot in the Impact poll?

    You don't need validation from Impact to feel good about your team, do you? You've been around long enough to know how this works.

    When it comes to the polls and the rankings, the only part Impact--through Andy- plays is gathering the information and posting results. There are many that participate, including at one time TBR, and many more that can. The problem Andy has is getting timely information back from the coaches participating. It is difficult to keep up with and very hard to get all the information needed to make an informed decision. We tried it and it was very, very difficult.

    I keep in mind that polls mean nothing; just like non-conference games. It's fun and allows for discussion, but it has no bearing on one's season.


    If getting involved with polls is something that you like to do and can gather timely information, then please send Andy an email---he would love the help. If it was something that we could do well on TBR, we would help him, too. But I tried and I just couldn't get timely info.
